$25,000 Donation From Ayr Rockets Girls Hockey Association

CCG News / March 17, 2026

The CCG is proud to recognize a generous $25,000 donation from the Ayr Rockets Girls Hockey Association in support of the Live & Play 2 Campaign — bringing the Twin Pad Arena closer to becoming a reality.

This project is about more than adding a second ice pad. It also includes expanded programming rooms and flexible community spaces within the community centre — creating new opportunities for:

• Youth and senior programming
• Fitness classes and wellness activities
• Community meetings and workshops
• Local events, celebrations, and gatherings
• Inclusive programs serving residents of all ages

These multi-use spaces will allow local organizations, families, and community groups to connect year-round — not just on the ice, but throughout the entire facility.

Together, we’re building a vibrant hub that supports recreation, connection, and growth for generations to come.

We are incredibly grateful to the Ayr Rockets Girls Hockey Association for investing in our community and helping turn this vision into reality.
