The Centre for the Community Group

In 2004, a group of young families came together with a bold vision—to build a space in North Dumfries where the entire community could come together to live, play, and thrive. This group became the Centre for the Community Group (CCG), and their dream became reality in 2011 with the opening of the North Dumfries Community Complex (NDCC).
Today, the NDCC is more than anyone imagined and is a vibrant hub offering everything from skating and soccer to pickleball, yoga, dance, and seniors’ programs. It’s a place where friendships are made, skills are learned, and memories are created. Now, it’s time for the next chapter.
The CCG is a registered charity and proud to lead the fundraising efforts for the
much-anticipated Net Zero Twin Pad and Community Programming Room Project. With government grants and Township funding secured, we are just $2.12 million away from completing this exciting expansion.
We need your help to get there. Your donation will help build a second ice surface and two new programming rooms—creating more opportunities for sport, wellness, connection, and community.
Together, let’s finish what we started. Your contribution will leave a lasting legacy. All gifts to the capital campaign with an eligible donation will receive a tax receipt.

This initiative recognizes the generosity of individuals, businesses, and organizations donating to the $2.12 million fundraising goal. Names will be displayed on the donor wall based on contribution levels, offering a lasting tribute to those who help bring this vital community hub to life. From modest gifts to major sponsorships, each donor’s legacy will be celebrated, reflecting their commitment to enhancing recreational and cultural opportunities in North Dumfries.
